I was a weekend warrior .... a wedding/event photographer. Five years ago, I retired from from shooting weddings and decided to concentrate on the original reasons I was interested in photography... landscapes and environmental portraits. I switched from shooting color to black and white using medium and 35mm format cameras.

I no longer consider myself a professional photographer, i.e. I don't make my living or part of my living using my photographic skills more than occasionally. I am using my photography as an artistic outlet, and trying to create art, however it is defined.

I have no intention on selling, unless a gallery becomes interested in showing some of my work and a sale develops from that. I like to show my work to here on line and enjoy the comments people leave ... well, maybe not all of them.
